Certificate is never enough

I would like to start with the saying of an unanimous great Chinese kung fu master that used to say that he would rather fear a man who has learn how to throw a punch one thousand times than the man who has learn to throw a thousand punches.

Regardless of whatever you may have convinced yourself about, perhaps that if only you have more certifications about your field or about something you want to do. Now you may also need to know that theoretical knowledge will not be enough to get you started. Or even to say it openly here that, too much knowledge blocks your way of starting something great.

There have been too many people wanting to go for more courses upon courses without first testing out the one(s) they've gotten first. They've just finished from one course and immediately signing up for another course. It doesn't matter if it’s the same field, what matter is applying the one you newly finished.

People give excuses these days that, first certifications have become uncompetitive in the labour market and will not put to practical use the immediate knowledge they have now. Instead, they quickly move on to higher studies of same or variant course.

Practically speaking how would someone gain more knowledge if not by practice? But we've been so brain washed by the society that the higher you certification the higher your chances of getting a good job.

Oh, quite true isn't? Yes, you may get a good job but you are not so good at it. You are only good as any other employee like yourself. Perhaps no one will notice how impractical are your knowledge since you were given a quick training before you began to work.

But this shows us why many companies will not pay you more than the merger salaries you receive every month, because they employed you with just certifications no practicality.

Now you can see reasons why a very competent practitioner would be paid higher than a studious person who goes on acquiring every available certificate courses.

You can be and do what you need to do now or go read for some more courses; it’s up to you whenever, wherever, whatever you want to do.
