10 Reasons why Creativity takes Courage #3

#3 Because creating something is different than thinking about something. It requires action.

A dream without any action plan is of no use at all because without this no human being can achieve anything worthwhile, so there must be a system of operating. Just like it is often said by the great thinkers and doers of all time that; our feelings become our thoughts, and our thoughts become our words, thence our words become our actions. Consequently, we can see that the great aim of thinking is not mere analysis of a solution but taking action.

When you are creating something it means you are acting on an idea. It is these actions that will bring the creative ideas alive, presenting it to the world to see. But it will only take a courageous person to be creative because to be creative is like you going left when the rest of he whole world is going right. However, whenever you are thinking about doing something and you start seeing how uncommon your ideas were as well as how it may not be favourably accepted by the people. You may begin to entertain more of such negative possibilities of thinking that things may not work out as planned. So the tendency of carrying it out maybe very low because your thinking has been clouded with imaginations that nothing good can come out of this for you.  Instead, your thinking should be full of possibilities of actions and realization of your creative ideas. With such thoughts you build the right zeal to continue even in the face of uncertainty.

Also, whenever you see or hear about the criticism of those who are up-coming or already doing well with their own creativity, don’t be part of the criticism in anyway. Because 99 per cent of this set of critics have already chained their own creativity in their room and have nothing positive to offer but just to hack around. There is no time to waste when you have a lot to do with your creativity. It has to be refined, fine-tuned, repeated over and again, remodeled, and more importantly displayed to the world. These days you need not to know the owner of a TV station or radio station before you can get your products or services out there. The internet has made everything possible and easy, whereby you can just upload online; a picture, a video or whatever you've created.

This gives you an opportunity to reach your targeted audience and beyond rather than to first go to the critics who will kill your dreams even before it can reach your audience.

Of course, the usual thinking of having everything ready before you start is a common human thinking, but a very paralytic way of thinking. We want to act only when the condition is right. We postulate all kinds of theories and facts why our ideas must still wait for the perfect timing, resources, finance, place, or economy. These factors have always been there and mind you they will never leave, so you better decide to break yourself free from this chain of inaction or to hang in with them and continue looking for loop holes of other people.

When you put your thoughts of ideas on paper, never you forget that it is better off up and going, keeping your ideas moving. With little courage you can take actions because you do not need to over board yourself with all those unnecessary protocols of going through a bureaucratic straitjacket of regulations, that will stifle your creativity from coming out to the world.

So, brace yourself with actions all the way, because your time to roll the world with your gifts, talents, interest, or creativity has come, and it only those on the platform that will be recognized.
